Many of us grew up with the idea that sport was reduced to choosing between football or basketball. And that if you were tall, it seemed like you had no choice. Although the best jump to the basket could be your best header.
After finishing our studies, going around a lot, and trying things without completely finding our place, we began a stage in search of something that really motivated us to get up every morning, moving away from conformism. We started to travel, one of us lived in different cities like New York or San Francisco and for several years we had the opportunity to get to know other cultures and ways of thinking. It was a time of search and uncertainty full of new experiences, changes, successes and many failures at a personal and professional level. One became an expert in coffee and the other was trying it with Rugby material among many other things.
In a poem by Robert Frost called The Road Not Chosen, there is a line that says: "Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less travelled, and that made all the difference."
That need to want to find something that we were passionate about led us to take different paths, and thus we began to discover the important effect that facing the unknown, trying new things and facing our fears has on our growth and self-awareness.
Throughout this entire stage, our passion for sport has always accompanied us, and after setting foot in a Box for the first time in 2015, these would become a second home for us wherever we went. Little by little, during our training we began to see not only the possibility of creating something related to this sport that we were passionate about, but also that constant motivation to face new challenges from which we had learned so much. For this reason, we decided to start a project, not only to accompany athletes in their improvement and improvement with the help of equipment for their training, but also with the hope of motivating them (and ourselves) to have the courage to abandon their routine. and expose themselves to fail by accepting that we are vulnerable, because at Earwaves We believe that the most powerful starting point to grow is by getting out of our comfort zone.rn

We are mentioned in the report on SMEs in Spain that Amazon launches every year as a reference in this segment. "The SMEs that the coronavirus has been good for". Amazon and IE University launch Despega, a program to promote the growth and digitalization of more than 50,000 Spanish SMEs after the pandemic, which has the collaboration of institutions such as ICEX, CEPYME and AECOC. We had the pleasure of collaborating in the initiative by contributing our testimony on the agenda of these video courses
We were visiting the Podcast of our friend and collaborator Ana Galeotern (@physiowods) chatting in a very informal way and telling how all this started and what we want to achieve with Earwaves.rn
Our friends also went through Madrid: Alex Carrasco y Fitmanpower to record a hilarious podcast at "El Rincón Metabólico" where we talk about Earwaves, but we also give a ton of information about hand grips!
